Selecting a Docking Station
Tanabyte's unique modular instrument design allows the customer a great deal of flexibility in configuring instruments for specific applications. All pneumatics and electronics needed to perform specific calibration or analysis functions are mounted on removable "Modules".
Tanabyte analysis and calibration Modules represent complete, self-contained systems, autonomously performing their designated gas analysis or calibration functions, but they require an enclosure, DC power and some means of interacting with them and viewing measurement data. The "Docking Station" provides all these functions in addition to other services, such as ventilation and networking.
At the present time, Tanabyte offers two Docking Station options, primarily distinguished by the number of Docking Ports supported. The Portable Docking Station is designed not only to be rugged and reliable for portable applications, but also requires very little space for bench-top applications. The Dual Docking Station may be bench mounted or rack mounted, requiring only 5¼” of rack space

The Portable Docking Station is small, lightweight and rugged - ideal for field auditors and traveling service personnel. It is designed to accept any calibration or analysis module.
The small size of the Portable Docking Station also makes it ideal for bench mounted applications where space is at a premium.
